It´s been few weeks since we started our studies. Each day is different, still having a sense of continuation, following the rhythm of our daily schedule. In the mornings and evenings we practice together, starting our days at 7am with morning practice, and ending at 8.30pm with evening practice. Shared moments in the gompa, in the dining hall, in the classroom and during free time are so much important, sense of connection and warmth among the people living here is the key to feeling at home in this family of Lishu.

Learning happens slowly, slowly.. Bit by bit our teachers are guiding us through different topics, giving us joy and challenge in learning.

One of the past week´s topics is the preciousness of this human life. We really do have everything that it takes to make our life more meaningful, happy and rich. We are all educated, have more than enough to eat, to drink, to wear. We are not living in a war zone, in a poverty striken areas, in isolation. We can read, write, think and understand. We have all the freedom to choose, to express, to make a difference. We can focus our lives to inner development so that we can live more fully and be able to help others live more fully. So how to use this life now, now and now, it´s all up to us, as always. How amazing is that!
